It's okay to be angry. It's okay to be scared. It's even okay to take a Saturday off, stay in bed with the blankets over your head and worry about the future. There some days, where that is all we can do to get by.

The thing is, there is nothing wrong with your emotions. There is nothing wrong with reacting to a situation the way you would naturally react. When you're mad, sometimes you just have to mad.

We're not required to be so completely in control of our emotions that we ignore them and continue like nothing is wrong, feel them, let them out and continue on when you're ready.

See, what we need to do is be the best we can be in every moment. That doesn't mean we have to be our best at all times. Nobody can live like that. It means when we're sad and we need to take time alone then that's the best we can do at that moment. Do the best you can do with how you're doing.

When you ignore your emotions, when you try to be the best, at all times, no matter what is going on, you're hurting yourself. You actually lowering what would be defined as your best. When you're carrying all the things you refused to let out it weighs you down, it keeps you from achieving because you're mind is filled with all these things you refuse to let go.

If you're mad at someone, be mad at them. And when you're done, release that anger. If you're scared, be scared, until you're not scared anymore. Confront what is bothering you, feel it and let it go.

Be the best you can be, in every moment. By holding it in, we refuse to move forward, we lose all the current moments, but living in the past.

Focus on your feelings over the next week. What are you holding on to that is preventing you from moving forward and being your best? What things from your past are you holding on to and still punishing yourself for?

Feel what you need to feel, forgive yourself for the things you're punishing yourself for and be the best you can be in each and every moment.
