Let's Get Started

Life can be frustrating. Every one of us runs into situations we feel we can't handle. Occasionally we have times in our lives where we feel we're going nowhere, and sometimes it feels like every decision we make is wrong.

That's where a life coach can help. Acting as a guide, your coach will help you figure out what it is you really want out of your life. You will also tackle your self doubt and the fears that are keeping you from taking the actions necessary to live the life you want.

Perhaps you are facing a crisis that seems impossible to overcome. You know you need to make a change, but fear of the unknown or the perceived safety of your current situation, keeps you from acting.

It might surprise you to know that you already have the ability to make that change inside of you. You have the answers you already need to questions about your life. Your coach will ask you the questions to find those answers. Instead of giving you advice, your coach will help you find the internal stumbling blocks that are keeping you from getting where you want to go or, in some cases, finding out where it is you want to go.

I specialize in working with artists as well as people going through gender, job, and relationship transitions (a nice way of saying divorce). I specialize in this work because I've gone through all of these things.

I have been an artist who struggled with the direction of her craft.

I have quit safe jobs with benefits, twice, to strike out on my own.

I was divorced after 23 years, on my own, feeling hopeless and needing to figure out my new life on the fly.

I started my gender transition in 2018 at 47 years old. Finally tackling the last of my fears and facing my lifelong struggles with my gender identity.

And now, looking back on the last 5 years, I wish I had a life coach by my side for the journey. I figured out my wants, my goals, and the steps I was going to take on my own. I finally got over my fears and self doubt, but mostly because I figured out how to challenge myself, to tackle my fears and set those goals, on my own.

I made a lot of mistakes, but I learned to use all those mistakes and setbacks as lessons. I learned as I went and finally I not only saw the progress, but I felt the changes. Fear melted away from me, self-doubt was quieted and the fog that surrounded my future lifted as I could finally see what I wanted and how I was going to get there.

Let's work together. You will flesh out your dreams, state your goals and tackle your fears. Dare to believe in you, ignore your self doubt and earn the rewards that come with betting on yourself.
